You know the whole “Tammy NYP” fiasco. (I’m quite fascinated by the way it’s almost a brand “Tammy NYP” haha) It actually makes me a little sad. Sex is supposed to be intimate thing. An act of love between two people. Videos like that, whether they are meant to be circulated or not, truly cheapens it. I just think it’s so private and when it’s violated…it just becomes so ugly. And I hope it wakes Singapore up to the loop in the law as it is, with regards to privacy law. The internet screws a lot of things up doesn’t it?
In other news, came across this site from mrbrown’s blog, maintained by an ex-Mormon:
http://www.whatismormonism.com/
Interesting stuff. It’s pretty balanced and neutral and all that. But! Some of the allegations are so out of this world you just wanna take a hypothetical mormon and shake em’ by the shoulders and go like, WAKE UP YOUR IDEA YOU HYPOTHETICAL PERSON! But then again, when you think about it, all religions could probably be seen as just as outrageous as the next. It’s just about how established the religion is. Who knows, if the world doesn’t end anytime soon, Mormonism could be the next big world religion. Though Islam is still the fastest spreading world religion around.
There’s a parody of religion here.

I believe it’s about Christian groups jostling for the title of the “True Church of God”. Although I believe firmly that only Catholicism is entitled to that claim, both historically and divinely, it’s still a site worth taking a look at. It parodies Mormonism especially. I honestly don’t know whether to laugh or feel angry at it. Oh, and it mentions something about “Tammy NYP”! Believe it or not. Singapore’s on the map once again, we seem to be famous for sex scandals, first Annabelle Chong and now Tammy. People are now shaking their heads and going….wow, Singapore is screwed up man. When actually, every country has their share of idiosyncracies, Singapore’s just more touche about it I suppose, and is still rather unwilling to accept the fact that its citizens have sex. Haha. Accept it and move on. But I can’t help feeling that it leaves such an unpleasant taste in my mouth.

tammy should ask for a royalty sum from all those who benefited from the sale of all those souvenirs that have emerged on the market because of her fiasco.
