Revenge of the Killer Auntie!!!

I unashamedly brandish my umbrella at the despised sun.
I paint my nails a vampy red.
Big Apple Red.
Oooh yeah baby, bite me.

All things bright and beautiful

Last night something out of the ordinary happened. I still feel as if it weren’t true, that I was simply imagining things on that splintering wooden bench as I tried in vain to read my notes. It was after evening mass, the church quiet and peaceful, and austerity had crept watchfully into the shadows. Then [...]

Names

Gianna. Is that a nice name? She’s a saint…a very ordinary yet extraordinary one. I kinda like the name.
You know the trend now is to call bakeries/boutiques with these one word names: Toast, Loaf, Baguette, Pluck, Strip, Blush, etc.
Maybe I’d call my boutique “Fetish”. How about it? *grin*

Birthday Dog

Barry turns 9 today, or the ripe old age of 63 dog years if you will! Mummy got him a blueberry chiffon cream layer cake from our favourite neighbourhood bakery- Dino’s- Absolutely no chocolate for dogs! They get sooo sick.

Food.

Yesterday was a good night. Wala’s with the girls was great as usual though I was feeling a little sleepy towards the end (no not a sign of old age! babies get sleepy too.) … The rather un-atas sounding PS Cafe is really, (cue italics please) rawther atas. The place is gorgeous. But more importantly, [...]

I love Cedele. I go at least twice a week…the soups, the breads, the sandwiches, the desserts are just completely YUM but the service is so bad. So I wrote a huffyish email on www.cedeledepot.com about how awful the service is and how they ought to do something about it…I really hope they do, because [...]
